We’ve already held two fantastic company parties here. The castle is beautiful and full of atmosphere, the three-course dinner and wines were delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They were always happy to top up our glasses and made sure we had everything we needed. The lighting, sound and illuminated dance floor were excellent too. An extra bonus: after the party, you can simply walk to your hotel room across the way!

Planning your gathering
Are meeting packages available?
A four-hour Salon Meeting starts at €49 per person, including a salon, standard AV, Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and one break. An eight-hour day starts at €85 with the same essentials, two breaks and a sandwich lunch. From eight participants, including VAT, subject to availability and programme.
How many participants can you host?
Capacity depends on the space and layout. Le Grand Salon de Looz holds up to 180 for a gala or 300 theatre-style or standing. Larger groups can be accommodated outdoors. See the spaces above; we confirm the final layout for your programme.
Can we hire the venue exclusively?
Exclusive hire is available on request. Tell us which indoor spaces, outdoor areas and hotel rooms you need. Availability, programme and conditions will be set out in your proposal.
What are the cancellation conditions?
The conditions for your event are set out in your proposal and agreement. Check them before confirming, including rooms, catering and additional services. For a separate hotel booking, the conditions appear with your selected rate in the booking engine.
Food, activities & equipment
What catering options are available?
From coffee and lunch to private dining, a barbecue or dinner in Brasserie Léonard, we adapt food and drinks to your programme. Outdoor dining, food trucks and external catering can be discussed. Please agree any outside food, drinks or suppliers with us in advance.
Can we add a team activity?
Yes. Options include walking, cycling and Vespa or 2CV routes through Haspengouw. Creative, sporting and culinary activities are available on request with experienced partners. The courtyard, gardens and terraces also suit breaks and receptions. Outdoor programmes depend on season and weather.
What equipment is available?
Wi-Fi and audiovisual facilities are available. Additional sound, lighting, microphones, staging, DJ facilities or an illuminated dance floor can be arranged to suit the event. Technical support or an external AV specialist can also be discussed. Requirements and any extra costs depend on the space and programme.
Can we arrange music and an evening celebration?
Parties can continue until 04:30. A DJ, band or background music can be arranged by agreement. We agree the music, location and evening programme in advance and include the arrangements in your proposal.

Can our group stay overnight?
Château de Looz has 46 rooms and suites on the estate. Our separate sister hotel Château de La Motte is 3 km away and has another 17 rooms. Share your group size, dates and room preferences so we can check availability and allocation.

Published starting rates per night are €100 for a double room, €140 for a suite and €180 for a family room. Current rates depend on room type, dates and availability. Request a proposal for a group stay.
What accessible facilities are available?
There are accessible parking spaces and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Accessible bedrooms are available on request. Discuss any requirements for access to the event space, bathroom facilities and overnight accommodation in advance so we can confirm a suitable arrangement.
Are children and dogs welcome?
The estate has family rooms and a playground; dogs are allowed. Let us know if children or dogs will join your group so we can discuss the arrangements for your stay and event.

Where can we park and charge a car?
Find us at Kasteelstraat 10, 3840 Tongeren-Borgloon (Hoepertingen), Belgium. There are 200 parking spaces on the estate, including accessible spaces. Electric-car charging is available opposite the estate. Use the full address in your route planner.
Address and directionsCan we arrive by public transport?
Plan your journey to Kasteelstraat 10 in Hoepertingen (Tongeren-Borgloon) with De Lijn. Check current connections, the walk from the stop and your return journey, as timetables vary by day and time. Our team can help discuss your group’s arrival.
Plan your journey with De LijnCan group transport be arranged?
Shuttle transport can be discussed on request. Share your departure point, group size and preferred times. Availability, arrangements and costs are agreed in advance, including when your group stays across both castles.
Can suppliers load and unload on the estate?
Access for cars and trucks is possible. Please coordinate deliveries, setup, removal and access requirements with our team in advance so they fit your programme and other activity on the estate.
